Well I think the title says it best but my shoes are the proof. Some call these thorny boogers goat heads. I think tack weed is a better name since they have these horrible spines that are as sharp as a tack. Worse thing about these weeds that they stick to your shoe and then break off and they have more than one tack. So you can track them into the house and then find them with your bare feet. OUCHHHH!!!! Now we will spend the next couple of years spraying and rolling up the plants that we miss during the early growing stages. This is one weed I could do without and Sadie Jo agrees...they hurt her tender pads.
