I thought it was appropriate to display this piece for today's post. Last year I was involved in a round robin and my project theme was the American Flag and flowers. The pattern comes from Zweigart's American Flags leaflet J003. I plan to stitch all thirteen designs and make them into a quilt. These designs have lots of confetti stitches and take lots of concentration to stitch. Only one of the three stitchers in the round robin was able to complete their square. This square returned home incomplete and of course I had to finish it right away. I have decided that these patterns are not for the faint of heart and you must have persistence to finish each square. So two squares down and now eleven more to stitch.
If anyone were interested in purchasing the pattern, I would recommend checking with Robin's Nest Designs. When I purchased mine, I had a hard time finding anyone who had the Zweigart designs in stock. I received great customer service when I called and spoke to Robin about locating this pattern. She placed me on hold and came back to say that she had the pattern in hand and would mail it to me the next day.
