Totally Useless February Kinda

I’m not sure how often there are two New Moon phases in a month but January was one of them and that leaves February without a New Moon.  Guess I could have looked that fact up, but I am already late posting this post.

I am just getting back to stitching after a long hiatus.  This is pretty clear when you see how few ORTs (Old Ratty Threads) are in my Mason jar this month.

The few threads that you see are from the Lizzie Kate Summer Alphabet Sampler.  I am so close to completing this piece that it is hard to stop stitching once I get going.  These are the times that I try to convenience one of the furbabies to do the laundry or fix dinner for their Dad & I.  As you can imagine I get the look that says I will have to do these request myself.

Sorry there is not a post of my stitching progress, this will have to wait until my February Turtle Trot post on the 10th.  So until then if you would like to participate or learn more about the Totally Useless Stitch A Long (TUSAL) Click this link to learn more.

Have a great week!

  1. Thanks for popping by my blog and commenting :) Love the fabbies in the background - what are they for?

    1. The top fabric with the paw prints is for the back of a community service quilt that I am planning on quilting. The second one from the top is a quilt top that was turned into the quilt guild and the two fabrics below it are possible candidates for the back for this quilt top. Thanks for noticing and asking :)

  2. Stitch away! Can't think of a nicer way to spend a winter evening! Delightful photos --- even the random threads look promising!
