At least today was not as windy as it was yesterday. It had the kittens, Calleigh and Boo, seeking shelter in their fancy kitty condo a.k.a. a produce box from Costco. Sadie Jo, Cash and Don spent the day doing little projects around the ranch. “Two more items down and how many more to go?????”, said Don at the end of the evening. Good thing I fixed him one of our new favorite dishes, homemade beef pot pie. It was yummy and filling. It was amazing to feel the difference after Don replaced the old screen door with the new storm door. On real windy days, we probably could have blown a candle out with the draft that used to come through the back door. It does not help that the wind comes up from the river and hits the back of the house straight on. The new door looks quite nice too.

Wind, Wind and More Wind
