Well it may not be a big deal at your house but the first fire of the season brings great joy at our house. There is nothing like the heat from a good old fire. The funniest thing is shortly after starting the blower fan, Squeekers shows up for basking in the heat. Sophie is getting just as bad. Since Cash is a puppy, he was not sure why I was wadding up newspapers and stuffing in the hole in the wall. He watched with great interest. When the heat started coming out, it did not take him long to move further back plus his kitty sisters where swarming in for front row spots.
