My brain does not always work like a normal person. Here is the perfect example. I was at Costco on Thursday afternoon and saw these.
Knowing that my husband's birthday was Saturday, I had it in the back of my mind that I needed to pickup a little sweet treat for him. While browsing, I came across these cupcakes. It is a bit funny since the big football game was last Sunday and the Super Bowl is not for another weekend. Yes, we live in Seahawk country so the 12th man is a big thing here. So my mind seeing the cupcakes and immediately it calculated that 6 cupcakes multiplied by the 12 is 72 and then if you subtract the 6 cupcakes you get the age that my husband is turning. Oh yeah my brain works this way. Scary but that is what I was given. When getting home, I showed my husband and then asked him what 12 x 6 was, answer 72 then I said what is 6 minus that and he rolls his eyes when he gets what I thought I was so clever to notice. It is a couple hours past his special day and the day was pretty low key. It did not help that I had to deliver quilts for the guild to the newest Habitat for Humanity home in our community. Since this week has been one thing after another, I had no energy left and promptly crashed when I got home. Now to make this coming week a special week to make up for the lack of attention on his special day. It will start with homemade spaghetti tomorrow and maybe some cinnamon rolls to follow on Monday or Tuesday since my dough recipe is better two days after making it. Yeah this sounds like a plan. Now to head to bed. Hope everyone's weekend is going well. Cheers!
