Turtle Trot Post #1

While I was browsing some of my favorite blogs earlier this evening, I came across the blog, BAP Attack. Back in 2010, she started all her projects in her stash. All I can say to that is…You Go Girl!!!  But what caught my eye after getting back up off the floor was her creative way to keep going on her projects. She is calling it Turtle Trot, where other stitchers who stitch at there own pace can list 13 of their WIPs, working on them, and then post their progress on the 13th day of each month. With my three drawers full of stash, WIPs, etc., I think this is a great SAL for me.

Since I’m starting this on the first posting day, my pictures will be what my WIPs look like.  Next month, there will be some progress on at least one of these projects since I do have a commitment to model stitch for a local shop.

Enjoy & Happy Stitching!!!

  2. Hi Toni! Glad to join you in Turtle trot. I have been wanting to work on cross stitch but always turned to crochet as it comes easy to me. Before joining the SAL , I was a bit apprehensive as I dont have cross stitch friends on my blog list. But now I am comfortable having some of you:)
Your projects are very nice and you have already made a good prgress! :)

Your comments are greatly valued. I love to acknowledge and respond to each and every comment that is left on my postings. The problem that I run into is some of you still have your profile set to "no-reply" for your email when you post. So if I have not responded you may want to check your profile settings. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my blog and leave a comment. Have a blessed day!
