Yes, it might seem a bit odd to keep and then take pictures of our ORTs (Old Ratty Things) or snippets if you prefer to call them, but there has to be somebody a little crazier than you right? Well there are quite a few of us that are participating in the TUSAL this year. Here is the link to It's Daffycat's posting that has the link of the participants who have posted an update this month. I have been keeping my ORTs in a small square bottomed canning jar that came from my Great Grandma's supply. The crazy thing about using this jar for this is that hanging onto odd things was common for her to do. She was not a hoarder like you see on some of the TV shows today but kept things that she knew there was a future use or caused her to be quite frugal. This was due to living through many hardships like the Great Depression, two World Wars and all the innovations that happened in her 96 years.
