Wednesday Woof
Sadie Jo here, pawing another edition of the Wednesday Woof. It has been quite some time since Mama was occupied with something else and I could get my paws on the laptop. She even had the nerve to take the laptop with her when she was gone for what seemed like a couple of months. She says that it was only ten days but to me it was way too long. I am still a bit mad at her. I would not snuggle with her for four days after she came back. We have decided that she is not allowed out of the house without supervision by one of us or Daddy because we know he will bring her back. So today when she said she had to return an overdue book, I volunteered to go. It was wonderful being in the vehicle and going someplace besides my doctors (i.e. the vet). We even picked up dinner. Since she is home we are back to only getting chicken nuggets instead of a burger.
Besides Mama being gone our winter has been kind of boring especially since there has not been any snow just a lot of snow and cold temperatures. Hopefully spring will be here soon. Mama did mention we might have to go out and clean up one of the flower beds if the temperatures stay in the high 40s or above (8°C and above). There is also talk of having to dig out around the basement window wells. This has to do with all the construction that has been going on in the basement. Mama keeps saying that it will be her sewing and quilting studio. She said this one will have a spot for me to come and hang out with her. She has been training my cat sister to lay in cat beds. I still think the pink one is a fluffy Frisbee. I have stopped trying to pull it out from underneath Sophie when she is laying on it and I want to play.
Well the tea is ready and Mama says she wants her laptop back.
Until next time…
Hope you had a woofunderal Wednesday, Sadie Jo ^. .^

Wednesday woof gave me a good laugh. thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with Dogs and riding in cars? They don't care where your going, how long your going, they just want to go!
ReplyDeleteDearest Sadie Jo: It's me, your buddy Lucky the farm dog. I enjoyed reading about your latest adventure. I get to ride in the car when my dad goes to the dump, and I ride in the XRT golf cart when he picks up the mail. We have fun together. It's even more fun when he goes up to the Williams brothers store ---- there's a brown dog who lives next door who always greets me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have some kind of challenge with the cat. I suppose you'll get over it. I have deer who visit the farm every evening. Mom and dad leave out cracked corn for them, and I watch from the deck. I don't bother them. They can get really, really close to the house, When it gets a little bit darker, they come to the front yard and eat the leftover chicken feed. And they visit my donkey brothers in the pasture. I think they're pretty cool.
We've had some cold weather lately, too. Mom couldn't use the outdoor well faucet the other day, so she had to tote buckets of hot water to melt the ice off all the waterers. She says that cleaning the donkey barn and pasture is easier in the cold, though. Hmmm. I wonder why that is.
One of my chicken sisters, little Jenny, disappeared a few weeks ago. Mom was sad. But we know we'll see her in heaven.
Well, that's about it from here on the farm. I send doggie blessings your way, Sadie Jo. Barks and woofs from me!
