April 2014 TUSAL Post

Looks like I am back to posting late…my TUSAL (Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long) was supposed to be posted on April 28th.  Last month I reported my needles were smokin’ well this past month they had to be set aside for oodles of other project that had to take precedence.  Besides not stitching very much I was trying to make room on the table between my husband and mine chairs, I sat a bottle down inside my ORT (old ratty things) jar.  So my ORTs are a bit smooched down in the jar.

This second picture of my ORT jar shows this great Christmas fabric that is going to be used as binding on a quilt that has all of these fantastic colors.

Sorry for the short posting but I will be back as I have another posting deadline tomorrow.  Hopefully I will not be too tired to get it posted.  Our weather is supposed to be nice and the yard is looking a bit like a jungle.  Hubby has lots of mowing to do while I do some weeding and fingers crossed get some things planted in the garden.

If you would like more information on TUSAL or ORTs.  Here is the link to our SAL host, Daffy Cat’s, webpage that will provide you this information, click here.  Also check out Daffy’s Cat’s current TUSALposting to see what the other participants have accumulated in their jars.  You will need to read the comments to see those of us that have linked up :)

And yes there will be a posting to recap the great fun that we had

Have a great day!

  1. Well, bless your heart. Meeting deadlines is tough. Right now we're in the middle of lots of stuff, too; my husband is working on several acres of bush hogging. Our meadows grow like crazy, and this is the first cutting he's done since fall. I've been working on my kitchen garden, and the baby chicks (now almost 8 weeks old!) and the donkeys get lots of care and more than enough love! My art has taken a bit of a backseat lately. Relax and continue to enjoy your days. Sending blessings from the farm - and Lucky the farm dog sends his best to Sadie Jo!

  2. Blogging and quilting is supposed to be fun. When you get stressed about deadlines, the fun is lost. So don't worry just do what you enjoy, and blog when you feel like it.

Your comments are greatly valued. I love to acknowledge and respond to each and every comment that is left on my postings. The problem that I run into is some of you still have your profile set to "no-reply" for your email when you post. So if I have not responded you may want to check your profile settings. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my blog and leave a comment. Have a blessed day!
