A Little Sprakle

Once again it is a New Moon so it is time for my TUSAL (Totally Useless Stitch-a-Long) update or as I call it my time to share my craziness.

Since last month, I have stitched on a handful of projects, which seems to always make the ORTs colorful and fun. This month you might notice some sparkly ORTs. For one of my other Stitch-a-Longs (SAL), I was working on an ornament and to jazz it up I decided to use three strands of Kreinik blending filament to give it some pizzazz. I was hoping to use a very fine braid (#4) but I didn’t have any in the right color. So three strands of blending filament it was. I also broke out some Thread Heaven. I love using this product when using the Kreinik blending filaments. It just makes them behave a little better.

I can never seem to get a good photo of the side of my ORT jar so you only get to see ones from the top or peeking over the jars edge. You might also notice that I have my sewing ORT bowl for you to enjoy as well. Notice the candy wrapper in there? Yep, my wonderful hubby of 22 ½ years bought me a lovely card and a box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day. I think the chocolate is to fatten me up since I’ve lost 13 pounds in the last six month and 5 of those pounds came off during the holidays, Wahoooo!!! Some many more to go but down is better than up.

Enough of that if you are interested in joining TUSAL (Totally Useless Stitch-a-Long) or just finding out what it is all about either click the TUSAL badge on the side of my blog or follow this link Its Daffycat blog, TUSAL

Now back to getting ready for the quilt guild meeting tonight, I would rather be stitching… Ta Ta for now
