First Post

Well, I have finally done it and am now blogging. I was inspired to do this by so many wonderful ladies who share my love of cross stitching. Now this will give me an outlet and not bore my fellow group members with my long winded stories and the latest updates on Sadie Jo.

For those who do not know me, I have been married going on 16 1/2 years and cross stitching for just around 25 years. My husband and I have only been blessed with four-legged children. Our latest addition is Sadie Jo who is a red and blue Australian Cattle Dog. Some people know ACDs as Heelers. Next month she will be a year old and almost has her mama and daddy trained. It does not help that she is the worlds cutest ACD and this has been confirmed by unbiased sources.

Hopefully I will get the hang of blogging and not make to many mistakes or faux pas. If I do please let me know because I have pretty tough skin being a farm girl and all.

Last week the wind came through and wrecked havoc with my roses. I could not see throwing out a stem with three buds and then I found a couple of others that would make a nice arrangement. I think the red rose is a Mr. Lincoln rose and the pink rose is an Elizabeth rose that my mom planted shortly after they moved onto the farm some 19 years ago.
